Are you ready for Christmas? I’m certainly not although I’ve made some progress this week.
I’ve got most of my Christmas shopping done, still need to wrap and post some things.
I’ve been working on last minute some projects which I’ll be sharing with you next week. Stay tuned to see what Icreate with this pile of materials.
Now, I need to start thinking about the baking.
What do you have left to do?
As I do my baking, I’ll be sharing some more Christmas recipes so stay tuned.
It was all about creativity this week.
I made this Bubblegum Necklace which would make a great present. It’s a long necklace made with these beautiful large bubblegum beads. I just love the colours on this one but then, as you'll see later on, I'm a pink girl.
I also shared instructions on how to put an invisible zip into a cushion because I’d received some questions about this after my Christmas Gnome Cushion Pattern post last week. People had asked me how I put the zip in, soI wrote a detailed tutorial.
Do you put zips into cushions? Lots of people tell me that they just hand stitch the cover closed. With two cats in my house who always seem to have muddy paws, my throw pillow covers get washed a lot, so it’s essential that they are easily removed.
There’s still lots of Christmas inspiration going on around the web. Have you checked out some of the amazing Christmas projects? My Christmas Pinterest board is looking pretty healthy right now.
If you’re still in need of a Christmas Wreath, why not try making one like this one that Marie made with a coat hanger and some Christmas baubles. Don’t you just love it?
For something a little rustic, why not check out these great Christmas ornaments that Renee made. She has quite a few unique decorating ideas which I loved.
Traditional red, gold and green not your thing?
Why not try peach and orange?
Kim made a good point with her Peach Glitter poinsettia.
Stacy shared some wonderful ideas for decorating your Christmas tree if you’ve not done it yet.
Jayne made this wonderful snowflake decoration made from – wait for it – clothespins!
If you are looking for something to feed your guests this Christmas (or just your family) I found this recipe for Snowball Cookies that Jill made - don't they look really yummy.
One more for the road – and this one has to be my favourite bearing in mind that I’m a ‘PINK’ girl. A list of pink Christmas gift ideas.
Oh my gosh! I could go on and on sharing things that have impressed me this week. There’s just so much quality stuff happening.
Before I go, I was wondering if I could ask a favour?
I need subscribers on my (Affordable Jewellery Supplies) YouTube channel where I share all my jewelry tutorials –would you mind popping over there and clicking the button. Thanks.
So, that’s all from me this week. Have a fantastic weekend. See you next week.
