It’s Saturday and the sun is shining! I’m hoping to spend at least a few minutes in my garden this weekend.
This week I did a spruce up of our outdoor table getting ready for the summer months and all those barbeques to come. It made me think about all the yummy summer food – barbeques, delicious salads and DESSERT!
I really like it when my husband does a wonderful rotisserie chicken over charcoal, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I guess the next job is to actually clean the barbeque so we can start firing it up!
Speaking of food, this week I found this amazing recipe for the most delicious Peanut Butter Cookies.
I have not tried them yet, but they are absolutely on my list.
Do you make cookies and send them off to friends and family for Christmas?
Can you tell that my brain has switched (reluctantly) into Christmas mode? I’ve been really trying to ignore it but it’s out there.
So, I’ve decided to embrace it (sorry Jenna– she believes that anyone talking about Christmas pre-1 December should be shot!).
I found this really cute Christmas swag. I really like the tiny flower pots.
I thought that Kim did an amazing job making this Coastal Christmas Holiday dough bowl display with, basically, just a few pieces of a plant!
Now that’s creative.
Morgan made this super quick wreath from Magnolia leaves – I have those in my garden! You could make this one in a jiffy.
My creative outlet this week was the Alice in Wonderland inspired Queen of Hearts necklace. Red and black are so ‘not me’ but I do love this. I especially enjoyed the wire wrapping part of the project.
Why not check out the tutorial?
It would make a great Christmas present.
Have a fantastic weekend, hope you see some sunshine.
