Happy weekend my friend! It’s starting to feel a little like spring is in the air. The nights have definitely gotten shorter and the weather is starting to warm up although we still have our heating on. Even though I haven’t spent much time in my garden lately (too busy), I’ve noticed that some spring bulbs are flowering down the back and my cold weather flowers are in full bloom including my hellebores and cyclamens. I can’t wait to have some time to get out there and give everything a good clean and up and some spring plants on the way. My vegetable garden is looking very neglected too.
I wanted to go outside and take a photo of my plants to share with you but as it’s raining, I decided to share this photo I took a couple of weeks ago from Raumati – a small town about 40 minutes drive north of where we live.
This week I shared a very popular jewellery project and a really yummy recipe.
This one got lots of love! One bracelet that looks like many. This multi-strand bracelet means you can add all these layers of beads with just one clasp. I loved making it (it’s a good project to do while binging your favourite Netflix show) and I absolutely love wearing it.
I’m a huge ice cream lover and this recipe is possibly my favourite ever. I’ve been making this ice cream for a very long time. Over the years I’ve tweaked it and have come up with what we consider perfection. It’s a wonderful adult treat and it’s super easy to make. No churning necessary!
All I’ve been seeing this week is fall! So I decided to join in and share some of my favourite fall blog posts.
This is wonderful. I think this wreath is quite unusual and interesting. I would never have thought of doing this – would you?
It wouldn’t be a fall post without a pumpkin, right? I love this copper leaf pumpkin. It adds such warmth and, if you know me at all, you know I love shiny copper! This would look perfect in my kitchen.
And, here’s some more pumpkins, completely different from the shiny ones above. These are so rustic – I love that they’re made from scrap wood too.
This is a great little project that you can make from a recycled can. I love giving old things a new life as something beautiful.
I also found this wonderful house tour on the Tarnished Jewel Blog. I really like that the fall touches are quite understated here. What do you think?
This one is not at all fall related but it inspired me. A garden party sounds like such an amazing idea and this one is just so beautifully laid out.
As we can’t leave the house, and it’s raining, I’m thinking that we might have a floor picnic this weekend, inspired by this wonderful post.
That’s all for this week. It’s a rainy day so I’m planning on staying inside.
Have a great week! Stay safe and have fun!
