This week we have been working super hard on the jewellery store, getting new products photographed, catalogued and uploaded. Seed beads have been the focus – no – before you ask – we don’t count them. We weigh them into tiny 6 gram tubes. We are still working on this so there will be more colours coming next week.
I also created and blogged about the Butterfly in the Rose Garden stretchy bracelet which was a nice change from the spookiness of last week’s Halloween pendant.
Today I’m off to the Petone Indoor Market with Jenna and I wrote about all the amazing artisans that sell their creations there.
I’m really looking forward to it as I love seeing what everyone has made over the past month.
On the web this week everyone is starting to talk Christmas. I’m resisting the urge but, honestly, I’ve been thinking about it. I thought I’d share what others are writing and that way I can ease on in.
I found instructions on how to make these cute Mercury Glass Ornaments. If you’d like to make some go ahead and take a look.
Aren’t these Christmas stockings cute – whoever thought of putting decorations on your cupboards – well Liberty did!
And lastly, if you’re starting to think about decorating your tree (I know it’s early but planning ahead ensures less stress), why not go with an unconventional blue tree this year. Isn’t this tree just amazing!
I had actually been thinking about blue decorations for my house this year. I think the traditional red and green of Christmas would be just too jarring.
Have you ever had a blue themed Christmas - let me know in the comments below - I'd love to know.
Coming up on the blog this week I will have a new jewellery tutorial for you, some great Christmas ideas – yes, I’m making my lists, and some ideas about how I find out who wants what for Christmas.
