Turn Your World UPSIDE DOWN with These Earrings

I’m going to turn your world upside down this week – or at least your connectors.  I’m making a pair of earrings but I’m using one of the components upside down.

I’ve used these connectors before, in my Flower Teardrop Necklace tutorial.

This time, I turned the connector up the other way so that I could use the two connection points at the bottom, rather than the top.

These earrings are pretty easy – the hardest part is connector the centre connector to the loops of the connector, but even that’s not hard.

Materials

Here’s what I used to make these earrings:

• Flower V Connector 26mm x 16mm x2
• Tibetan Silver Beaded Rondelle 6mm x 1mm x10
• Purple AB Electroplated Glass Faceted Rondelle x6
• Silver Stardust Beads 4mm x2
• Manmade Hemalyke Hexagonal Rondelle 3mm-4mm x2
• Silver Flat Oval Cable Chain 5mm x 3.3mm x 0.9mm x18cm
• Stainless Steel Ear Hooks Twist with Flat Back 21mm x 19mm x1 pair
• Silver Jump Rings Round 4mm x 0.8mm x4
• Silver 5cm Headpin x2
• Silver Beadsmith German Style Wire 22 Gauge x20cm

Tools

The tools that I used are:

• Round Nose Pliers              
• Flush Cutters                      
• Chain Nose Pliers x2          
• 1-Step Looper 1.5mm size

Jewellery I’m Wearing

In this week’s video, I’m wearing the moody statement necklace.

The earrings are made from one of the dangles from the necklace.  Super easy, just make a couple of extra dangles and add them to an ear hook instead of the chain.
