Have you ever had a necklace or bracelet break on you, and the beads go everywhere?

Usually this happens at the clasp where the stringing material goes through the loop.  It also usually happens when you use thread, instead of Tiger Tail or other wire.  

This week I’m showing you to stop this happening by adding French wire to your piece.  It also gives a lovely professional finish.

Materials

If you would like to make the bracelet that I made in the video, here are the materials you will need:

• Griffin Natural Silk Thread with Needle Size 5 0.65mm x 2m
• Electroplated Natural Cultured Freshwater Pearls - Two-Sides Polished 8-10mm x 7-9mm x12
• Toggle Clasp Flower 23.5mm x1
  
• Electroplated Glass Faceted Rondelle 4mm x 3mm x13
• French Wire Fine 0.7mm x2cm
  
• 1.5mm Crimp x2
• Crimp Cover 3mm x2
  

Tools

The tools I used for this project are:

• Chain Nose Pliers
• Scissors
