What's in the box?

For the last few weeks I've been waiting curiously, wondering what was in the huge box beside the Christmas tree with my name on it.  Don't worry, I didn't open my Christmas present early - it was for my birthday but it was so big it couldn't be hidden so it's just been sitting there - taunting me.  Today I got to open it!  

Here's what was in the box - wow there's a lot!

I'm so excited - I've been wanting a Kenwood for such a long time.

So, even though it's my birthday I had to whip up a batch of yummy scones for lunch and eat them with homemade jam.  I was absolutely amazed at how quickly the food processor attachment chopped the butter into the flour - a matter of seconds.  The scones were extremely light and fluffy. If you want to make your own gluten free scones, use my recipe.

I think I'll be spending lots of time in the kitchen over the next few days experiment with all the different attachments.
